Contract: Contract for one year, subject to renewal, with six month probation period

Hours: Part-time, 3 days per week /21 hours per week / 0.6 FTE.

Salary: €26,257 per annum (€15,754 pro-rata 3 days per week).

Purpose and Scope of the Post

As the Events and Marketing Assistant at the Irish Writers Centre, you will play a pivotal role in the organisation’s communications, as well as providing administrative and logistical support to the events and programmes. The Events and Marketing Assistant will report directly to the CEO and will work closely with the Administrator, the Programming Officer and the Communications and Marketing Officer as well as the wider team. The Main areas of responsibility are to manage the logistics for events and programmes, digital marketing, developing marketing collateral, direct mail, distribution and market research. We need someone to join our team who is focused on customer care and stewardship and whose excellent skills in organisations and time management to ensure the smooth running and timely delivery of our events and programmes. The candidate will ideally have a passion for the arts and a strong digital and copywriting skills with excellent attention to detail.
