*The facilitator of this course will explore the therapeutic benefits of creativity and writing from the perspective of a professional writer. She is not a mental health professional.

Join seasoned facilitator Cat Hogan for a two-day course of creative writing focused on creativity and mental health. During these sessions, you will explore the benefit of bibliotherapy - creative arts therapies with the purpose of healing - and the therapeutic value of writing. Imagination, self-awareness, empathy and conflict resolution will be some of the themes explored through fiction, free writing, literature and poetry.
