The Art of Memoir is a workshop about how to remember, and how to recreate from memory narratives that can work in the present. It is suitable for all levels of writer, and will include exercises for the participants in recovering memories from the past, and how to reshape memories in ways that craft effective narratives.
Michael Harding is a writer, who has worked in fiction, theatre, poetry and memoir. In recent years he has pursued memoir as a way of creating narratives that recover the past and allow them to reshape the present. He is the author of three bestselling memoirs: Staring at Lakes, Hanging with the Elephant and Chest Pain: A Man, a Stent and a Camper Van.
