The Irish Writers Centre can be found at No. 19 Parnell Square, located in the heart of North Georgian Dublin and part of the soon-to-be-developed Parnell Cultural Quarter.
We pride ourselves on being a versatile venue and boast a number of rooms for hire that are ideal for meetings, events and workshops from small to large. This listed building retains many of its original architectural features and is decorated throughout with art from the FX Buckley Collection. Just across the road is the tranquil Garden of Remembrance and we are central to many hotels, cafés and theatres as well as the bustle of O'Connell Street.
The Centre now welcomes enquiries for rooms for meetings, writing groups, and a wide range of other purposes both within and beyond the literary/arts/multi-media/culture sphere.
If you would like to rent a space here at the Centre, take a look at the details below. All of our rooms are named after the great names of Irish writing: Benedict Kiely, Eithne Strong, Michael Hartnett, Eilís Dillon and Robert Greacen.
We are lucky enough to be located in the historic Georgian area of Parnell Square, soon to become the Parnell Cultural Quarter which will house the new City Library. Parnell Square is also home to several important cultural and literary institutions.
