We are delighted to announce a new service whereby the Irish Writers Centre will develop and organise literary packages, tours and workshops to cater for the growing number of cultural tourists looking for something different to experience in Dublin.
Imagine a tour of the Dublin Writers Museum or Hugh Lane Gallery followed by a lunch inspired by the works of Wilde or Joyce. This could be followed by a workshop or reading with a contemporary writer or poet, before going on to enjoy a walking tour of the city. The literary world is your oyster!
Below are some suggested workshops that you might be interested in pursuing. However, feel free to imagine your own and we’ll do our very best to accommodate you. Beginners, intermediate or advanced workshops lasting two-hours, a half-day or full-day.
- Writing Crime or Thrillers
- Writing for Screen, TV, or Stage
- A Novel Idea—how to generate and develop an idea for a novel.
- Is that the best you can do? How to edit your own work
