A Celebration in Memory of Dorothy Molloy

A Celebration in Memory of Dorothy Molloy

FREE

Wednesday 3 December

6.30pm

Ten years after the death of Dorothy Molloy and the posthumous publication of Hare Soup, followed by Gethsemane Day and Long Distance Swimmer, friends, fans, and the uninitiated are invited to join us in a celebration of her work and to honour this great Irish poet.

Please come and read your favourite Molloy poem, share your thoughts or sit back, listen and simply enjoy the occasion with a complimentary glass of wine.

'Coming at the same moment as the shocking news of Dorothy Molloy's death, her first collection of poems has the impact of an Atlantic wave, a sense of piled and travelled force bend it.' Eiléan Ní Chuilleanáin, Irish Times, April 2004

The event has kindly been organised by Nuala Leonard and Louise C.Callaghan. Any enquiries should be directed to nualaleonard@yahoo.com
