All are welcome to the launch of OPEN - Pierre’s Journey after War by Margareth Stewart. OPEN - Pierre’s Journey after War is an intimate story of a man whose wife and children are killed during bombardments of France in WWII. Devastated and embittered, Pierre leaves everything behind and embarks on an odyssey to bury his past in the darkest recesses of his mind. The journey, which lasts more than forty years, involves a sequence of events and coincidences that ultimately provide him new direction and a sense of purpose.
About the Author
Margareth Stewart is the pen name for Mônica Mastrantonio. She is a writer, speaker, and lecturer in the field of Social Projects and Literature. She holds a PhD in Social Psychology and is mostly interested in developing strong characters and unusual stories. This Zen-mother of three, loves life, her tattoos, and dancing. She lives part of her time in South America, Europe and Miami. Being a constant traveller and an avid reader has shaped her into a very open-minded person who is capable of dealing with multiple projects and targets. She has also edited and published the following anthologies: “Whitmanthology”: on Loss and Grief (2016), “Womanthology”: writings on women worldwide (2016) and “The pain that unites us all” (2017) gathering more than 40 writers from different countries. “The 7 sinkers: a view from below” is her book of short stories and “Open” is her debut novel. Her next novel is “Mademoiselle-sur-Seine”/on plaisir & bonne vie.
