Finding Your Form: The Story Continues with Nessa O'Mahony
You’ve taken your first steps into finding the story you want to tell. This course will help you develop those stories, find your voice and experiment with a variety of forms and genres. During the ten weeks, we’ll examine poetry, poetic form and imagery, novels and short fiction, screenplays, radio plays and scriptwriting. The approach will consist of a combination of in-class tuition and exercises and peer critiquing of work in progress. Nessa O’Mahony has published four books, Bar Talk (1999), Trapping a Ghost (2005), In Sight of Home (2009) and Her Father’s Daughter (2014).
