In this practical, step-by-step seminar Ian Sansom will seek to debunk common myths about writing fiction and will provide some simple methods and techniques that can be used by writers at any stage of their writing careers. Using structured exercises and examples from classic and contemporary fiction, the course will explore some of the many ways in which fiction works.
Ian Sansom is a novelist and critic. He is the author of thirteen books of fiction and non-fiction, including the Mobile Library series. The most recent book in his latest series, The County Guides (Harper Collins) is Death in Devon (2015).
