No matter your chosen genre of writing, it is important to effectively present your work in an engaging way at public events. In this course we will explore the ways to do your work justice whether you write in poetry or prose. Through a series of fun, interactive exercises, participants will consider aspects such as pacing, intonation, characterisation (where applicable), the importance of reading aloud, and voice projection. Participants are asked to bring along one or two pieces of their writing for use in the exercises.
