Learn how to write for video games in this step-by-step engaging course. In each weekly hands-on session, participants will craft interactive stories using a free and easy-to-learn tool called Twine. In addition, they will learn the theory of structuring narratives for choice and interactivity, and how to get involved in the game development community. Learn and create in a fun and inclusive atmosphere in which every student will publish their own interactive fiction by the end of the course. Charlene Putney writes games for Larian Studios and is putting the finishing touches to her first fantasy novel. When not writing, she teaches role-playing games and interactive narrative at Trinity College Dublin and DIT.
