Why do you want to write about your travels, and what do you want to say? This workshop will take a brief look at the place where travel, memory and writing intersect, and try to answer some of these questions, through discussion and practical examples. How much of the self should you include? Why should you keep a diary when on the road? What are the themes and subjects you are interested in exploring? How do you structure a travel essay?
