Over the past two decades blogging has gone from strength to strength and has become an established part of the literary, journalistic, professional, and social landscape. For many, blogging has transformed from a hobby into a prolific career option. Bloggers have become respected and influential writers who have had articles published in the media on a national and international level. Using your writing skills in the right way can even draw attention from prospective employers, garner book deals and be a viable way of making money and paying the bills. Over one-day Mick Fealty will help you focus on why you want to write online ie for research, feedback, or scaling your work via digital networks, He will look at how you can best write online content by looking at platforms, content types and the use of multiplier tools, and he will examine what sort of outcomes are possible.
Mick Fealty is the founding editor of one of Ireland's longest continuously running politics blogs Slugger O'Toole. which was the 2017 Commercial Winner for Best Current Affairs/Politics Blog at the Irish Blog Awards. He has written for a number of national titles in Ireland and Britain.
