From Page to Stage will look at the do’s and don'ts of preparing your play for submission. Several experts will present on the opportunities available to playwrights in Northern Ireland and beyond. All sessions will allow for Q&A from the audience.

10.30 – 11.40 | Submitting your Play: Advice on revising your work and the do's and don'ts of submitting to theatres with Jane McCarthy (Assistant Theatre Manager and New Writing Coordinator, The New Theatre).
11.50 – 1.00 | The artistic directors and producers of Dublin's most dynamic new writing theatres and festivals talk directly about what they can offer emerging playwrights. Line-up includes Karl Shiels (Theatre Upstairs) and Kieran Griffiths (The Playhouse). Chaired by Rebecca Mairs (Literary Manager, The Lyric).
1.00 – 2.00 | Lunch
2.00 – 3.10 | Literary Manager Panel – Literary Managers discuss the kind of work they’re interested in receiving and what makes a good play. Line-up includes Chris Foxon (Producer, Papatango Theatre Company) and Neil Murray (Director, Abbey Theatre). Chaired by Rebecca Mairs (Literary Manager, The Lyric).
3.20 – 4.30 | Interviews with Stacey Gregg and Rosemary Jenkinson as they discuss the experience of having their work produced.
4.30 – 5.00 | Networking opportunity.
