Gaining creative momentum from home: a booster programme for students who've completed 'Nourish your creative writing from home'

Booster session 1 (June 23) - Personality and writing - understanding your own patterns and preferences as a writer and applying this to your writing routine

Booster session 2 (June 26) - Grit and resilience - responding to disappointment, rejection, and knockbacks

Booster session 3 (June 30 ) - Advanced creative habits and insights with a focus on writing brilliant characters in vivid settings

Booster session 4 (July 3 ) - Learning from the greats - analysing favourite books for enhancing and developing our own writing

 

Professor Sarah Moore Fitzgerald is an award winning writer whose five novels have been shortlisted for many prizes and awards, translated into over seventeen languages, and adapted for the stage in London and Edinburgh. She is part of the creative writing teaching team at the University of Limerick and is an experienced teacher whose teaching skills have been recognised at a regional and national level. She has carried out research on the process of creativity and writing and uses these findings to help writers to develop successful strategies for engaging in and completing creative projects.
