Want to write a book for children but don’t know where to start? In this practical, hands-on workshop, participants will look at the different age groups and genres that make up the children’s book world, before embarking on their own writing journey. The classes will include lecturing, in-class exercises, homework, book industry and publishing advice, and plenty of personal experience. Plus there will be a whole lot of book and story sharing. Sarah Webb writes for both children and adults. The Songbird Café Girls: Aurora and the Popcorn Dolphin is her most recent book. Sarah is the Children's Curator of the Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival and a Literary Advisor to Listowel Writers' Week.
