Want to write a book for children but don’t know where to start? In this practical, hands-on workshop participants will look at the different age groups and genres that make up the children’s book world, and then start you on your own writing journey. The classes will include lecturing, in-class exercises, some ‘homework’, feedback on individual work, book industry and publishing advice, and plenty of personal experience. Plus a whole lot of book and story sharing.

Sarah Webb writes for both children and adults. The first book in her new series, The Songbird Café Girls: Mollie Cinnamon is Not a Cupcake has recently been published. Sarah is the Children's Curator of the Mountains to Sea dlr Book Festival.
