Words on the Street - European Literature Night

Twelve Countries, Twelve Voices, Twelve Venues – One Great Evening
Sample the best of contemporary European writing as works from 12 countries are read by Irish celebrities in 12 unusual venues around the Parnell Square area. First reading at each venue 6:30pm. Each reading repeated every 30 minutes. Final reading 8:30pm.
At the Irish Writers Centre, and in partnership with Alliance Francaise, we are delighted to welcome UTV presenter Jenny Buckley who will be reading from The Elegance of the Hedgehog (L'Élégance du hérisson) – a novel by the French novelist and professor of philosophy Muriel Barbery.
