The web editor’s role is crucial in creating readable, searchable and findable web content that enables readers to complete their web tasks quickly and painlessly. This one-day course provides the essential guidance and techniques to make the most impact. Content creators or those responsible for web content will benefit most from this class such as content designers, editors, writers, business owners and publicity and marketing staff. This course contributes to PUB 14, PUB 15 and PUB 19 of the Book & Journal Publishing National Occupational Standards.
Since 1995, Sue Davis has designed, produced and edited hundreds of websites for clients ranging from small charities and businesses to large NGOs such as UNICEF and global enterprises. She currently helps clients with website metrics and analytics, performs expert usability reviews, conducts competitive reviews, advises on enterprise blogging, and designs and structures websites.
