Summer 2016 - this course has now passed.
Participants will learn about the essential building blocks of a thriller including characterisation, plotting and pacing, narrative voice, structure and suspense, dialogue and style. Each week, one of these topics will be discussed, looking at examples of current bestsellers as well as workshopping the submissions of participants. You will also explore research, self-editing, and how to pitch your thriller to an agent or publisher.
