Using examples from classic works of children's literature and his own experience as writer and commissioning editor, Conor will assist you with your work-in-progress (please come with at least an outline of your book and preferably 10,000 words or more of it written). Each week, Conor will lead a discussion of key topics such as characterisation, theme, world-building and plot. This will be followed by a workshop session, where you will have the opportunity to present your writing and get feedback and mentoring.
