Workshop by Dr Gavan Titley ‘No platform, Multi-Platforms: Digital Media, Journalism and the Far-Right’ followed by the launch of Baobab with talks by some of the contributors.
Anti-Racism Network is honoured to host Dr Gavan Titley’s workshop at the launch of the Baobab Volume 4. The journal is edited by Ronit Lentin, Irma Bochorishvili & Lila Re Monteiro and includes poems by A.K. Mtowa, Sahar ALi, Nandi Jola & Nita Mishra, artwork by Tuqa Al-Sarraj as well as children living in DP centers. The journal also includes an article on Islamophobia by Fardus Sultan; an article on au pairs in Ireland by Jane Xavier; a piece on Amsterdam by Yaqoub Jemil BouAyanaya; Bulelani Mfaco’s reflection on life under state sponsored homophobia; MERJ’s article on what post-referendum reproductive justice looks like; Anne Mulhall & Lucky Khambule’s article on issues with the Right to Work and the reasons why the fight goes on; Seneliso Mkoko’s piece on studying while living in DP; an article by RAMSI’s Ellen O’Keeffe on the Summer Camp RAMSI organised this summer as well as the monthly solidarity dinners; Paola Rivetti’s article on what solidarity is; Caoimhe Butterly’s piece on her work with refugees in the past few years; and Juliana Sassi’s article on her involvement in Take Back The City.
