Writers in the Regions
Writers in the Regions: Masterclass Series
Writers in the Regions is an in-person lecture-style, masterclass series designed to broaden our reach into the vibrant writing communities around the country and bringing expertise and experience to writers at different stages of their writing journey. These one-off masterclasses will explore the craft of writing, developing plot and style and perspectives from which to tell a story. They will also cover the business of writing and publishing. These inspirational sessions, offered by some of Ireland’s most valued authors, will be open to all writers, aged 18 years and over. Each masterclass will be two-hours with a Q&A at the end and there will be no writing prompts during the class.
This year we have so far hosted sessions with acclaimed writers Conor Kostick, David Butler, Mary Morrissy, and Mary O’Donnell, with information on upcoming sessions below.
Photos/videos will be occasionally be taken during events for promotional use; please do let the photographer know if you would prefer not to be photographed on the day.
