Supporting the Irish Writers Centre
The Irish Writers Centre is a flagship resource organisation for writers. It offers professional supports to meet the needs of writers at all stages of their development through training, information, networking opportunities and programmed events. A key part of our role is to offer a comprehensive and innovative toolkit/service to support the professional development of writers.
While we are part funded by the Arts Council there still remains, like most arts institutions, the need for the Irish Writers Centre to seek sponsorship and donations from the public and commercial world in order to survive and remain relevant.
Individuals
Your donation helps us to continue providing vital resources to writers across Ireland, and enables writers to develop their work with us. The Irish Writers Centre connects readers and writers through bursaries, residencies, information, creative writing courses, events and more.
We are committed to opening access to writing for writers from backgrounds currently underrepresented in Irish literature.
