Course Outline

Through exercises and readings, you will explore the increasingly boundary-pushing potential of non-fiction, dipping into autobiography, essay, reportage and even oral history. The course will focus on honing your eye, developing your voice, and incorporating the basics of good shoe-leather journalism.

Course Outcomes

Participants will be encouraged to produce their own piece of non-fiction work and get down to the nitty gritty of pitching and publishing.
*Feedback will be provided for assignments completed during the course.
