Every year we support over 2,500 emerging and established writers through our Academy of creative writing courses, mentorships, competitions, development programmes and residencies. Many thousands more engage with our events and outreach initiatives. We are committed to opening up access to writers from backgrounds currently underrepresented in Irish literature, and continually advocate for writers across the island as they illuminate our lives with their ideas and words. We sincerely appreciate your support in helping to foster the Irish literature of the future.
Individuals
With a donation of just €100 you could enable a writer to become a member of the Irish Writers Centre for a year, or benefit from a masterclass with an established facilitator.
Larger donations will help us fund creative writing course bursaries, mentorships, residencies and more.
Ultimately, your donation will help provide a platform for Ireland’s new and emerging voices.
Organisations
With a donation of just €500 you could enable a writer to attend a six-week creative writing course and benefit from a one-to-one mentoring session. Larger donations will help us fund ongoing development programmes, residencies, bursaries and more.
