Join us to celebrate the life and writings of the late Mary Guckian at the Irish Writers Centre on the 4th February 2026, 6.30pm-8.30pm.
Fellow poets, friends and family have chosen work from Mary’s five collections to celebrate her wide range of subjects. These poems have been inspired by her early life in Kiltoghert, Co Leitrim and her adopted homeplace, Ringsend. There are poems of nature, social history, urban observations and many autobiographical poems, all in her own unmistakable unique voice.
