Building Access

The Irish Writers Centre is currently housed in 19 Parnell Square, Dublin 1 which is a Georgian building consisting of five floors and is not suitable for those with mobility impairments. There is no lift in the building, and it is not currently wheelchair accessible.

The majority of the Centre’s events take place in the Kiely Room, which is on the first floor and requires climbing a flight of stairs. We regularly programme creative writing courses on the second, third and fourth floors. There is no induction loop in the building.

There are gender neutral toilets located on the ground floor and fourth floor of the Centre.

For further information on or to ask questions about building access, please email: info@irishwriterscentre.ie.
