This workshop, aimed at the global majority writing community in Ireland, has been made possible by the support of Dublin City Council, enabling the price of the workshop to be adjusted to ensure it remains accessible to writers in differing economic circumstances.
Course Summary
So you’ve written that poem or manuscript, and you’re now wondering what’s next? At this workshop, we’ll practice different exercises on how to be your own best editor. And discuss, with Q&A, collaborative editing thereafter, finding the best place for your work, and all the questions that are buzzing in your head about publishing.
Nithy Kasa is a Congolese-Irish poet, her work is featured on the Special Collections of University College Dublin. Her debut collection, Palm Wine Tapper and The Boy at Jericho was named among the top poetry books of 2022 by the Irish Times, and shortlisted for the Pigott Poetry Prize 2023. How To Make Love To A Colonised Body, Doire Press 2026, is her second poetry collection. Nithy lives between Ireland and the DR Congo.
