This course will take place in person at the Irish Writers Centre as part of our ‘Words on the Page Summer Sessions’ -a week of in-person intensive courses.
Course Summary
Oisín McGann will run a taster session for his illustration course, that gives an introduction to the basics of creating characters, settings and sequential art, as used in book and comic illustration.
Oisín McGann is a bestselling and award-winning writer and illustrator of dozens of books in different genres and for all ages. He has worked as a commercial artist in a range of styles for over thirty years, including in advertising and animation, but his focus has always been illustration for publishing.
