How does an Irish Writers Centre e-gift voucher work?
- Go to the e-gift voucher webpage and select the amount you would like to give
- Email the gift voucher certificate to yourself, or directly to who you are buying it for
- You can choose to send it immediately or on a specific date
- Enter your name so they know who it’s from (and there’s space for a message)
- Add to basket and checkout, and you’re all set!
Doing your shopping last minute? Our e-gift vouchers can be bought right up until Christmas crunch time, as the email voucher is sent instantly. They’ll be immediately emailed a gift certificate containing their unique voucher code.

Courses and Workshops
The Irish Writers Centre facilitates up to 150 courses a year for writers at every stage of their career, from beginner, intermediate to advanced. We provide a range of in-person and online courses including novel writing, short story writing, poetry and creative non-fiction. Our course times are designed to suit everybody’s schedule, so whether you’re looking to take a class on a weekday evening, a weekday morning or on a Saturday, we should have a course which suits your schedule. Course and workshop prices range from €45-€396, depending on the amount of course hours. For example, a 6-week course (2 hours per week) costs €190.
Membership
Get involved in our creative writing community! Select from two strands: associate or professional membership, depending on your writing stage. For a full list of membership benefits, visit the membership webpage.
Mentoring prices range from €30-€50.
Mentoring
The Irish Writers Centre has developed a panel of published and experienced writers and industry professionals. A professional writer-mentor can help you to make your writing as good as it can be. This initiative is aimed at intermediate and advanced level writers looking for professional input.
Mentorship rates range from €275-€350.
