The Dublin Youth Theatre WIR is one of the Irish Writers Centre’s Community Writer-in-Residence schemes. Connecting with young people is a key priority of our Five Year Strategy and the IWC is delighted to be partnering with DYT on this scheme.
Over the last 10 weeks, playwright Dylan Coburn Gray has worked with 10 members of Dublin Youth Theatre to help them create work for the stage. If a theme has emerged, it’s the terror of choice. What gets talked about by whom and how and why? Please join us for a reading of one of the plays that has resulted, as well as some chat about its answers to those big questions (and what others are possible).
