Friends and members, believe it or not we’re reaching the end of another decade! As the 2010s draw towards a close, we would like take this opportunity to thank you all for your invaluable support. This party is a celebration of the wonderful community who make up the Irish Writers Centre.
So join us in raising a glass to the Humans of No.19 and to the past year of literary successes!
We’ll have readings from our extremely talented teen writers, New Irish Community writers, our Online Writer-in-Residence Shirley Anne-McMillan, professional members along with a special guest performance from Éilís Ní Dhuibhne on the night!
We’ll also be announcing the winner of the Jack Harte Bursary Award, in association with the Tyrone Guthrie Centre at Annaghmakerrig. This is the fifth year of the award – named in honour of Jack Harte, founder of the Irish Writers Centre, in celebration and acknowledgement of his contribution to Irish literature.
