This masterclass is lecture-style with plenty of opportunity for discussion and Q &A interaction. Workshopping, feedback or writing sessions are not included.
Course Outline
The technical aspects of the craft will be examined – from research and fact-checking to creating rich, vivid prose. Learn how to identify your market, how to pitch to editors, and how to repurpose your work. The day-long master class will also delve into the digital world of online media and blogging.

Madeleine Keane is Literary Editor of the Sunday Independent and has been writing about travel for 30 years. She also lectures on travel writing at UCD. She is Chair of Children’s Books Ireland.
