Whether you're working with an arts festival, planning a book launch, or hosting an independent arts or literature event, this information session will give you practical advice on planning and delivering an engaging online event.

This webinar is hosted by Cúirt International Festival of Literature in Galway Director Sasha de Buyl. In April, just weeks after the COVID-19 pandemic first brought closures and cancellations across the globe, de Buyl oversaw the world's first digital literature event at Cúirt. The festival brought together some of the top names in Irish literature.

Sasha de Buyl has worked for over ten years as a programmer and literature development professional. Prior to Cúirt, she managed Scottish Books International, developing projects and partnerships for Scottish writers, festivals and publishers overseas. Sasha has held roles with StAnza International Poetry Festival, Edinburgh International Book Festival, Scottish Book Trust and Aye Write Book Festival. She was part of the inaugural team working on Book Week Scotland, and grew the programme from its inception to a bustling programme featuring hundreds of events and a high-profile touring strand. Sasha then joined the Literature team at Creative Scotland, where she worked on national and international literature development.

We will be releasing the full recorded info session to IWC members. To learn more about the benefits of membership, have a look here.
