Online Writer-in-Residence

Online Writer-in-Residence

The Irish Writers Centre Online Writer-in-Residence began as a pilot project in October 2016. The purpose of the residency is two-fold:

1.  To showcase the writer's own work
2.  To showcase the work of the IWC, its programme and its writers.

The role of the Online WIR consists of producing pieces for publication on the IWC website including non-fiction pieces such as reviews or interviews with other writers in the IWC community, feature pieces on IWC events and programmes and the Online WiR's own work.

Our inaugural Online Writer-in-Residence is June Caldwell. June is a writer and journalist and her short story collection ROOM LITTLE DARKER is due in May 2017 with New Island Books.
