This course, led by artist and writer Adrian Duncan, is for anyone interested in writing about visual art. This day-long course will look at the similarities between short-form fiction and the description of art works. The course will include a visit to the Hugh Lane Gallery. Over the course of the day exercises in writing, looking, describing and the placing of imaginary objects in imaginary spaces will take place. Some reading will be provided beforehand as material for discussion through the day.
